Boring mills

Quite often both portal milling machines along with horizontal boring and milling machines are required for complete machining of complex workpieces. WaldrichSiegen offers milling machines and boring mills for efficient complete machining from one source. To extend the WaldrichSiegen product portfolio, the boring mill manufacturer UnionChemnitz was taken over in 2011 and became an independent member of HerkulesGroup.

At the facility in Chemnitz, horizontal boring and milling machines in floor type, table type or planer type design are designed and built. The machines manufactured by UnionChemnitz guarantee the efficient machining of workpieces with a length of up to 40 m, a height of up to 10 m and a weight of up to 250 t.
